Re: K2.0 released today in Japan

why should they get more songs than us? Because they pay more money for the album. (Simples). Yea but they pay more for everything over there. A dozen eggs probably costs twice as much as it does in the UK but that doesn't mean they should get one extra. It's an eggspensive country. Sorry That's no...

Re: K2.0 released today in Japan

why should they get more songs than us? Because they pay more money for the album. (Simples). “I think this song is like a gospel. It can be rephrased as 'God Be With You'. If it's a gospel, you'd sing so. It's the same in meaning. But I don't feel 'God' is a proper word in English very much. Becau...

I agree with you, it's a masterpiece and better overall than Strangefolk and PP.

I have not got into an album this much for years.

Re: K2.0 released today in Japan

I received my Japanese edition CD yesterday; I had to put my order on hold at the last minute because of a house move (which went well!) so that I could be sure it would go to the new address. I got the standard jewel case edition not the cardboard 'LP style' limited edition packaging. Most disappoi...

Re: PPA and Strangefolk

Yes it was only available from the KS store, limited to 3000 copies worldwide. Hard to get hold of now. It would be nice if they could make this available digitally, on iTunes (like they did with K-15) I don't think that would ruin the exclusivity of the original pressing, if it was digitally re-rel...

Re: 33 Crows - a big surprise!

Very interesting, thanks! :)

I still want to hear the 'original' 2005 live version now though ;)

I might write to Stitch Stitch and see if they'll sell me a copy / run me off another copy for a fee.

" 'Oh Mary' is a song that Alonza was mumbling to a riff which I came up with, but actually, I don't know if it's about the Virgin Mary, or someone who is called Mary really existed, or had rhymed something with . *laugh*" I'm not sure I understand the italicised bit 100%, but I gather th...

Re: 33 Crows - a big surprise!

That is the only actual recording of this song, and it is sung by a lady called Tammy. Well, apparently not... as we were discussing in this thread. Apparently a version was released on a Stitch Stitch Records compilation in 2005 https://www.discogs.com/Various-Oh-Sew-Tell-A-Stitch-Stitch-Compilati...
