Re: Own a unique piece of Kula Shaker history.

Bit late now, but the proper link was:

Actually went for more than I would've expected it to...

Re: Philosophical question

True. Also as regards to the suggestion that Crispian is "alt-right"; it's a bit of a bizarre notion to me considering it's a term that has only come into being very recently, and (I assume that) the comments the OP was talking about go back 20 years or so. In terms of where Crispian is at...

Re: Philosophical question

I think Crispian's music speaks for itself to be honest. If we're going to discuss stuff that was said in interviews years ago then you'd have to give an example of what you're referring to. In my opinion the most controversial things that he has supposedly said were wildly misquoted by mischievous ...

Re: Richie Wermerling - Miss Kula Shaker

Can't help I'm afraid; the title is indeed curious but I can't shed any further light on it.

As a track it's pretty good though, whatever it's about.

Re: For This Love versions

The Plymouth gig was issued as a radio-only CD (confusingly labelled as being from "Portsmouth Pavilion") which I think is the source of those mp3s; I have it myself and the quality is fine on that. Although I think there was also a bootleg version (audience recording?) that has an extra t...

Re: For This Love versions

Don't think it was played at the Plymouth gig.

They did it at the Irving Plaza 1997 gig that was filmed for TV. And also at Pink Pop 1997:

Unfortunately only part of the song was televised I believe.

Re: Collaboration between Ozric Tentacles and KS / Crispian Mills

Crispian mentioned Ozric Tentacles at the Bristol gig too (which can't be the gig you mention as it was after your original post.) So it's obviously a subject that seems to be on his mind lately.

Re: Delivery

Got the box set on Friday (missed the chance to get the album on its own), although the postie managed to leave it outside in the rain (grrrr.) But it was well packed and the box itself is made of extremely stiff material so it was actually fine once I got it opened. I'm very pleased with it, they'v...

Re: Upcoming live album

I've got two copies of it - both the hi def feed and an authored up version as two DVDs, which I got from dime. I could upload them somewhere like wetransfer and post a link, as long as that doesn't contravene the 'no links to pirated music' rule. It's not officially released, so should be OK - can...

Re: San Francisco 7 October

Nice review :) I enjoyed Crispian's Trump reference heh. And they played "I'm Still Here" too... even better :)
