London Roundhouse 17th February

Postby 2-J » Wed Feb 17, 2016 6:21 pm

Just making a thread for now. Will post thoughts etc after the show. And obviously hope others will share their own stuff / stuff they find online.

I'm at Kings Cross now, about to go for a Chinese (an Indian would be more appropriate I know) then off to the Roundhouse.

Really enjoyed it, especially the extended Tattva, but it was all good really. Sorry, on the move currently so can't really post anything more in-depth.

Video of Govinda in the meantime:

I can't understand why they're not playing more new songs! "Hey, lets spend ages making an album and then not tour it." :?
They did something similar after recording Pilgrim's Progress didn't they? Released the album and just played one gig - lol. At least they played a handful of new tracks that time.

Being a fan since "K" and never having seen them live, I'd be more than happy to hear a well-rounded set with songs of all 5 albums...

Yeah I think a well rounded set would have been good.

Sorry it took me a while, just got home from London. Here are two videos we took at the show:

33 Crows

MMG

It was so good to see them again!

Pity we didn't arrange a sort of forum meet up! But got to say hi to Susheel and drykid which was lovely!

I thouroughly enjoyed the show, but yes, only 3 new songs, and nothing from Strangefolk. But I guess they were trying to get people to remember how good K was 20 years ago.

Sorry I didn't get to see you all, we had to get back afterwards as our friend's were putting us up for the night.

Was fantastic to hear Great Hosannah, my all-time favourite. Also thought they did a great job of Mystical Machine Gun. I was really pleased to hear how many people were singing along to Infinite Sun, not just 'us'.
